The story of Rikki-tikki-tavi is a short fictional story by Rudyard Kipling.It is about a mongoose that is washed up from a summer flood. He is than found by a family and he is than revived. He fights two cobras that want to kill the family that saved Rikki-tikki-tavi. The two cobras are Nag and his wife Nagaina. Rikki-tikki-tavi than fights the two cobras and defeats them, saves the family. The narrators point of view influence the reader's conflict between Rikki-tikki-tavi and Nag by telling the story very descriptive.

In Rikki-tikki-tavi's point of view it describes what he's thinking and what he's feeling. It explains how he feels and reacts when he is inside of Teddy's house. It goes into details on how Rikki-tikki-tavi fells when he meets and talks to Nag. It goes into depth when Rikki-tikki-tavi fights Nagaina. It could be told by Teddy's point of view. It describes how he felt when Nagaina was about to bite Teddy and how he felt about Rikki-tikki-tavi. It is also told by Nagaina's point of view and how she feels when Nag died. The story is told from Teddy's mom's as well. It describes how she feels when they find Rikki-tikki-tavi and when Rikki-tikki-tavi and Teddy get close. Lastly, it is also told in Teddy's father's point of view when they found Rikki-tikki-tavi and when Nagaina was going to attack his family and how he felt Rikki-tikki-tavi was
