On September 20, 2001, President George W. Bush addressed the nation, in the midst of the terrorist attacks. In this time of grief, the people as a nation in the United States needed guidance, control, leadership, and were demanding to know how the nation should react to this act of terrorism. Throughout the nation airports were closed, New York Wall Street/Stock Exchange was to suspend any transactions, the Pentagon was compromised, the Americans were in constant alarm for any possibility of another attack.
