When the 2016 Super Bowl approached, football fans were excited to cheer on either the Carolina Panther or Denver Broncos for the victory, but not all viewers of the Super Bowl are football fans. Many people tune in to watch the Super Bowl to see the new commercials that are aired. Some people maybe even be more excited to see the commercials than to see who actually wins the Super Bowl. The commercials that are aired on the Super Bowl range from fast food to insurance companies, but we all have a few that we remember for the weeks to come. Hyundai aired multiple commercials during the Super Bowl promoting the new Elantra, Genesis, and Sonata. Hyundai is known for having famous faces in their car commercial like Ryan Reynolds and Kevin Hart. Hyundai is using ethos to appeal to their audience with their use of celebrities, which helps their audience remember what car was in the commercial. The first time the viewers of the commercial see Ryan Reynolds he is riding a bright red, old school bicycle down the street. Ryan Reynolds makes eye contact with both of the women in the car with a smirk. Both of the women in the car take their eyes off the road and turn their heads to stare at him as he ride pass the car. This appeals to women because he is in a baby blue button down shirt with navy dress pants. He looks like a very professional businessman.
