1. There is a war against the Patriots and the Colonies in Legend. Day is on the Patriots side and June is on the Republic’s side. Day is wanted by the Republic for assault, arson, theft, destruction of military property, and hindering the war effort. Day sneaks into the hospital to get medicine for his brother, Eden, who has the plague. Day ends up “killing” Metias, June’s older brother, by a knife. Once June heard about the death of her brother, she goes on an undercover mission to the Lake sector in Los Angeles, California where Day lives to find and capture him and bring him in for questioning. Day ends up saving June’s life at a skiz fight after a dust bomb went off but doesn’t know that it’s him. Day, June, and Tess go to an old library …show more content…

June knew it was Day when she saw him do that because she has his pendant in her pocket, she told Thomas, a soldier from the Republic, that she found Day. Thomas and other soldiers show up that night to capture Day’s family and him, Day finds out about the plan and leaves to go hide his family under their porch while Day goes on the roof and hides behind the chimney. Thomas shot Day’s mom while other soldiers took Day, Eden, and John to separate trucks. The soldiers locked John and Day up in separate cells and took Eden to the lab. June finds out that it wasn’t Day who killed her brother but that it was Thomas who did it. Commander Jameson set Day’s execution date for December 27th but changed it to December 26th. June helped John and Day escape their cells but wasn’t able to save Eden. They started running out of time so John took the blindfold from Day’s neck and put it around his and left Day and June and turned back to go to the soldiers and pretended to be Day, and died. Day and June were able to escape Batalla Hall thanks to Kaede and other Patriot soldiers who were waiting at the exit for them. Kaede took Day and June to Las
