Pringle, H. F. (1931). Theodore Roosevelt: a biography. Kessinger Publishing. This source is excellent to further understand Theodore Roosevelt’s life. In this book the author goes in depth about his personality, political life, and life at home. I want to mostly use the information on this source to talk about his private life. The book goes more in detail about his childhood life and his hobbies as he grew up. It goes on to explaining how he liked boxing, how he was homeschooled because he was a sick child, and how he married Alice Hathaway Lee of Massachusetts. This source is reliable because the author used information from the Library of Congress. Henry Fowles Pringle was also a professor at Columbia School of Journalism, and during World War II was the head of the publications division of the United States Office of War Information. Gould, L. The author goes on to explaining how he was mostly known because of his anti-monopoly policies and ecological conservationism. Also during his presidency he won the Nobel Peace Prize for his part in ending the Russo-Japanese War.
