Reflective Memo
English 202C is the class specially provided for engineering students preparing them for the future profession. The course practices students on formal writing in the engineering scale, moreover, it trains the critical thinking of the students through the technical memo practice. Through the six weeks writing course, in the end of the day, there is a lot of things to take away. The concept I appreciated the most is the course teaches engineering student how to describe, explain things from different perspective, address different audience base on their understanding. It is good chance for the students to learn from others on how to address the audience properly, how to utilize the image for better understanding, where should we bullet the point when most important. It is also a chance for the students to take the advantage avoiding the mistakes they would make in the future career. Assignment 5- Instruction Set is a good demonstration on teaching students describing engineering or science related knowledge to the general audience. How to make the description rigorous and easy understanding, how to make the obscure science knowledge both interesting and attractive?
