As far as Henry could discern, he was the only colored man who had the opportunity of traveling on the Titanic’s maiden voyage. Hence, he had reason to be proud. A grateful Henry looked skyward and thanked his creator for having such an honor bestowed on him. After departing Queenstown, the Titanic set sail at full speed, 26 miles per hour, for New York City. While Henry was elated at being a passenger on the Titanic's maiden voyage, another man felt the total opposite of Henry’s joy. The present situation angered him. “I heard you said you have incredible news. Is that it? Why would a colored man, traveling on a ship, be so unbelievable, uh, why?” “You mean you expected it?" Hearing such utterance from someone he thought of as a friend shocked him. Christ! From all indications, he would be fighting this battle alone. “Of course, Bill, I expected it. Let us hear what you've planned, and, mister, it better be risk free.” “Jack, don’t tell me you are getting yourself involve in a plot to kill a man?!” With his mind already made up, Jack spoke softly to Ruth. “Calm down Ruth. Let’s hear Bill out. We’ll take it from there.” Going against his wife’s wishes was the last thing Jack wanted to do. However, this time, it was necessary, as he did not want to displease Bill, because he learned that the man had connections, and, he intended to benefit from those connections in the near future. Therefore, he would have to side with Bill on this one. “Jack, I am uncomfortable with this murder talk.” “I know, hon. However, it won’t hurt to hear what Bill has planned, is
