In the book Reconstructing Amelia, Amelia shows many personality traits such as being intelligent and willing. She shows being willing in the fact that she was willing to stay in the Magpies even when Zadie regularly yelled at her and pushing her to horrible things. The only reason Amelia did this is so she would be with Dylan. Minnie Wright is the woman who lives on these lonely grounds. She is friendless and mostly keeps to herself. There is no one for her to talk to, her husband died recently, thus, she lives out her life as an outcast. In hindsight, Mrs. Hale, a woman who knows Mrs. Wright, explains to her friend, “'But I tell you what I do wish, Mrs. Peters I wish I had come over sometimes when she was here I wish– I had.’ I [too] wish I had come over to see Minnie sometimes.’” Since no one takes the time out of their busy schedules to visit Mrs. Wright, Minnie feels unwanted.

When my mom asked if I wanted to see this year’s Lakeside musical, I honestly was a bit unwilling. It’s not that I didn’t want to support my two or three friends up on stage and in the crew; I just don’t have a very good track record with high school performances. I’m a critic: I have always been very critical of myself, and very critical of others. I unwittingly judge the actors onstage, and end up feeling guilty because I probably could have done no better. On top of this warped superiority/inferiority was the nature of the musical they were performing; all throughout third grade I had been obsessed with the movie-musical Hairspray. I knew all the songs, most of the lines, and wasn’t sure if anyone could top Queen Latifah. But I was mistaken.
Cal is a character who has to deal with other peoples' problems while having to deal with his own problems. Cal has to deal with his father losing his job and his father doesn't support Cal when it comes to sports. Wanting his dad to go to some of his games, Cal discusses with his mom about his dad coming to the games. "Do you think you and Dad might come?" "No... not tonight, you know your is going through a lot right now." I zipped my gym bag shut. "Yeah, I know, but I wish he'd see me play sometime" (West 16). A doctor, a firefighter, a teacher, an astronaut: these are the kind of answers children give when asked the infamous question: What do you want to be when you grow up? As you grow older, this repetitive question becomes annoying because it forces you to confront and decide what exactly you want to do when you have been through adolescence. This conundrum is what plagues two characters in F. Scott Fitzgerald’s “Winter Dreams.” In this story, Judy Jones and Dexter Green chase after their own dreams and collide multiple times along the way. Jones wants to continue in her current lifestyle of freedom, power, and fame which seems attainable with her charm; however, Jones’ manipulative tendencies make her unappealing to people after a time.

To be great and kind isn’t always the easiest thing to find, because many of the greatest women in history were great because they had so little of a personal life. Amelia was able to embrace her life to the fullest as well a make an impact on society. She will always be considered great in future generations and will always be remembered in future generations.
Miss Amelia is described as a large and imposing woman who, though she mostly keeps to herself, frequently tries to assert her dominance by suing the townspeople whenever she can. She also treats the townspeople when they’re sick and works to create her own medicine that she tests on herself to make sure it will work. The film Back to the Future follows the Three Act Structure, the foundation of all dramatic storytelling. Act One introduces Marty, the protagonist and hero of the story who lives in an ordinary world when we learn about his life, his personality, his dysfunctional family, his girlfriend, and his everyday problems. We are introduced to another character that plays an important role, Doc. In the opening scene there is a lot of foreshadowing, cues that will have a meaning as the story develops. We learn about Doc’s personality, his profession as a scientist, his obsession with time, and how he and the protagonist have a close relationship as Marty knows where the key to Doc’s house is hidden.
