Reasons to help reduce homelessness in Canada

200,000; That is the amount of Canadians who become homeless every year. The truth might be shocking, but homelessness is an ongoing crisis. The inhumane environment outside makes people angry and aggressive towards other people. As unfortunate as this occurring problem is, according to the human rights act, it is a citizens job to be respected, trusted Canadian citizens and help solve the problem rather than witnessing it from afar. As humanity continues to gain knowledge of the situation at hand, the media is constantly and consistently turning societies heads the opposing direction, making people forget the real struggles in life and what we should do to aid the individuals in need of a helping hand. Homelessness needs to be reduced. This change can occur if there is a reduction in violence, drug addiction and unfordable adoptions.

Imagine waking up to the blasting cries of innocent people being assaulted by homeless men and women with nothing more than the rips in their jeans. Statistics prove that the crime rate in Canada has lowered by 22% since the year 1999. Canadians should continue to decrease the amount of crimes in Canada, one at a time. Homelessness can occur to Canadian citizens through domestic violence, such as robbery, technology, etc. Robbery is a crime of taking expensive items from peoples home or hands. For example, a robber is when an individual attempt to steal valuables. Instead of working hard to get theses goods they resort to thievery to obtain theses goods. Robbery can make you homeless because if your precious items like money are stolen from you, it will not be as easy to regain theses items. Now one has realized that if there is a reduction in violence, drug addiction and unfordable adoptions, then their will be less people in Canada that are homeless. Violence needs to be stopped now the act starts! As a reduction in crime rate it will help reduce homelessness. Drug addiction makes people become unaware of their surroundings, of things in the world which is one of the major things leading to homelessness in Canada. Unfordable adoptions is not only a horrible situation for the baby, but for the parents itself as it puts them in a financial shock! Help understand homelessness, then fix the situation fast as it will end up being horrible in Canada.
