Example of Religion expressed
I find religion mostly in different movies, video games, and tv shows. For example, a game a play often is smite. In this game you play as different gods of different religions and cultures. Most of the religions are quite ancient and mostly comprise Japanese, Hindu, Mayan, Egyptian, roman, and Norse mythology’s. Also each of the gods that are portrayed in the game are given skills that reference their tales and adventures. Another example I have is that I watch quite a bit of anime. There is an entire genre where the devil from Christianity is put into a hero role or every day role and they get comedic events from the oddity of the devil being a good guy. I know about the basics of this religion and about the different realms of existence. First is the deva realm which is where beings similar to gods live. There’s the asura realm that holds strong beings with super powers but are not quite as strong as deva path dwellers. The human realm there we live. The animal realm where animals can understand each other because for some reason animals live in a different realm of existence from us. The preta realm where ghosts and spirits live alone. Lastly there is the Naraka realm where the demon looking creatures suffer. This religion is interesting because each of these existences give you the ability to always go to a different realm by being a better person the next time before you die again. At least that is my general understanding of the religion. I have learned about most of these basics of this religion by some of the other things I watch like Naruto where some of the characters are named after the realms of existence. There is also the game asuras wrath where you play as asura and fight other deities such as Indra. I would like to learn more about the realms and the story’s that they probably have about these
