I know the first thing that comes to mind is, “How ridiculous, why don’t they just get a job!”It perfectly acceptable to wonder, whether your money would go towards feeding a starving stomach or a drug addiction, therefore your generosity would be put to better use through a charity foundation or simply by offering a meal. The reality is that the majority of people who are homeless are unable to work due to certain disabilities. In other words, the best response is compassion. There is only so far we can do as a community, the major change has to come from a superior source, which is why I propose that the City of Austin ought to step up and diminish this problem. The City of Austin should build more affordable housing and assistance programs because it will help reduce homelessness.

I really don’t know to much about this career just that they can either deal with selling securities or managing personal finances or just as simple doing taxes and writing financial reports. What haunts me even more is what I don’t know about this career. Are there any aspects of it that I will just hate? Will I make enough money to support the life style I want? What are the future possibilities for career advancement? These are all questions that will weigh very heavily on my decision to become a financial advisor or to find some new career.
For my experience in this field I went in and interview my dad and asked him about something’s that he does around the office and what the big part of his job is and he explicated. I found out that there are very high risks in this job because you are handling people’s money, when sometimes this is the customer’s whole life savings going into your hands to try to make money. This would work well with me because I am very good with numbers which, leads to being really good in math. From the interview I also learned that you have to be a people’s person because most of the job is trying to get people to let you handle their most in return for a commission or a part of the money that will be made. I learned that this job will be me sitting at a desk for most of the day and sometimes sitting down with old customers or new customers deciding what route they want to take with their money. I liked that my dad is very dexterous or skillful.
