DiMaggio, C. (2013) defined that public health is concerned with the health of whole community not a specific group or groups. In simple words, public health is community health. It has been defined by Winslow, C. E. The vital purpose of public health is to protect the children and the wider communities from serious health threats, helping them to live long and healthy lives and improving the health of disadvantaged children and people rapidly. Health inequalities of children stop them to grow and turn into a bright future of the societies (Hatzenbuehler, Phelan & Link, 2013). According to DH (2013) children and the wider communities are the jewels of societies and the main challenge is to ensure their health security. Different factor can have long-term or short-term negative effects on the health of children. Additionally, healthy behaviours and health progression in childhood set examples for future life. The assurance of educating children about health and supporting the activities related to reducing health inequalities of children means that the wider communities as a whole can get the benefits of a resilient future generation which will be in good health and happy. On the other hand, poverty can be reduced with strategic economic and political actions and planning (Sørensen et al, 2012). Hatzenbuehler, M. L., Phelan, J. C. & Link, B. G. (2013) described that the understanding of link between schools and social inequalities has been considered by different researchers. There are plenty of opportunities for schools to contribute in reduction of social inequalities and inequalities of children such as healthy settings, omitting poverty trap, developing awareness, health literacy and minimizing truancy etc. Schools are the place where children can learn more and can gain more. However, it has been measure by Walker, S. P. et al. (2011) that schools can play an important role in reducing inequalities of children and the wider community as children who join the school belong to different backgrounds then they get different experiences from school and finally leave their school with totally different results. The children belong to poor families are most likely get admission in schools which have lowest fee and may have lowest performance and providing poor educational system.
