If I were to give Ponyboy another assignment, I would ask him to write about what he wants to be when he grows up. I would ask him this because I would be curious to see if he want to stay a greaser or change. I would also wonder if he would want to continue his path and maybe become a teacher. When I assign this assignment, I first would hope he will do it. I say this because he might not want me to know anything about him anymore. Also because he might drop out of school or maybe not care. But if he does decide to do it, then I hope he puts the same amount of detail like how he did in the last assignment I gave him. I hope that he goes into more detail if possible about it. He might say it in a story like last time. If he does then it would definitely get an A. If it is long it would probably get a A. Or If it is short I would still give it an A because if it is anything like the story he told last time he definitely deserves it. That story he told me was the best piece of writing I have ever read. If he lists me examples of what he would want to be I hope he says he wants to be a teacher. Or maybe that he wants to get out of town and be someone he has always wanted to be instead of being a greaser. Then he might talk about how he wants to be different from the others and want a career that's not working at a gas station. Hopefully he would try to be someone he didn't even know was in him.
