Starting out with learning how to hunt, there are a lot of things to know about hunting that very many people don't know they should know. There are a lot of different animals in the world that are hunted. Let's talk about when you are aloud to hunt in Illinois. According to coming and upcoming DNR calendar October thru April is when the main hunting goes on from deer hunting to hunting turkeys and there is a bunch more season for other animal some that I don't have any idea about. I started to learn about hunting when I was about 6 I would go hunting with my dad and just the experience of staying in the hunting cabin with all the guys and hearing all of the stories that get spread around and making fun of everybody especially if you get the biggest deer of the day or the weekend.
