The New Deal's goal was to curb the hard times the American people faced during the 1930's. Especially, African Americans they had it worst. There was no job for blacks to find and as black people seeking jobs escalated. Also, were the increasing difficulties black workers had to face. The whites had to face only the suffering from unemployment they did not have to deal with racism like African Americans. African Americans unemployment reached about fifty percent, double the amount of whites. Unemployed white people needed to vent their anger and they vented on blacks.
