“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances,” what the First Amendment is basically saying is that the Government really shouldn’t take away the rights for anything that has to do with religion, etc. Everyone has freedom of speech and the freedom to do as their pleased. Prayer should be allowed in the public school systems; you may ask yourself why, well it’s because prayer is a very important thing to do. I know many people may think what does prayer have to do with school, but it has a lot to do with school. Some kids may be having a tough day at school so they take a moment to pray to themselves. Praying at school as a young child is a very great thing. A child that is taking the time to pray could be praying that God will guide them through the day and help them make good choices. All the school is trying to do is allow the kids to have a few minutes of prayer, so they can get through their day. Why do you think prayer should be granted in the public school systems? As i have said once before, I myself believe it should be allowed. Prayer is a meaningful thing; it may allow kids to have a much better day, do good on test, and stay out of trouble; therefore, I feel that once the people took prayer out of public schools that's when all the really bad things started happening in the world.
