The United State of America, a huge and democratic country, so wealthy and strong. Yet, poverty is one of the most widespread and ongoing social issues the United States face. The lack of everyday necessities, such as food, water, shelter, clothing, healthcare and education sums up what poverty is. Over 45 million people in America live below the of poverty line. In spite of the many attempts to get rid of poverty, the problem has never been completely resolved. The efforts given from the government has helped lower poverty but it still seems to progress every year.
