Throughout the years, the current state of our world has been slipping. The environment slyly crept its way up to one of the most ambiguous topics throughout the world. Problems from contaminated water to smog in the air, our planet is slowly dying. Everyone has contributed to the extinction of our motherland. Under such assets, the government should be compelled to enforce and regulate such actions to improve our environment.
Actions speak louder than words, and therefore many communities should do something to help the environment because it shows righteousness. Though the government does whatever is can to help the environment, they should act more of a police-like figure to sustain order. Passing a law is not enough to get people to be more active in trying to preserve the environment; it is like a teacher telling a student to do their homework, but in the end it does not work. The government should be enforcing acts because the environment and its resources are not going to live on forever: “The truth of consummation is that humans will always consume natural resources” (Winters). Nothing is immortal, not even that little five inch piece of plastic that adolescents love to walk around with. At this rate, the world’s natural resources will soon start to decay, and there will be no more if no one takes action. The government administering acts upon acts trying to salvage what is left in the environment will be one step into improving the environment. Source D shows that environmentalists can minimize the costs of global warming, and it can be a valuable aid to the government. Any short term or long term solution can be supported by the government as it lowers the level of global crisis.

Our environment is what everyone shares, and it is delicate. One wrong move and it can affect a whole area. The government fostering environmentally friendly actions is what the doctor has ordered. It is clear that ensuring that the environment is safe from being wrecked is for everyone to join forces along with the aid of the government. Combining forces to rescue the environment is good for the soul and the heart. Only by instituting environmental practices throughout the world can leave us into an optimistic world, knowing that our habitat is not being destroyed. From saving one’s own nation to the saving all the nations we all have one planet that we live on, and that planet is what people call home.
