Recommended: Reflection on volunteering at school

For years, I have personally experienced and watched students struggle with school because of the lack in basic necessities. So in support, I will be volunteering at our local Paw Paw Middle School to help benefit the students and local community. These benefits will be including better health, cleaner hygiene and odor, and increased self-esteem. In addition, this will not only benefit the students and local community but will also benefit citizens on the state and national level. I will accomplish this project by providing a classroom that fulfills students basic necessities such as food, clothing, toiletries, and water. To start, this project will be benefiting mostly the students in a variety of ways. As mentioned, I will be providing basic necessities which will help students health, hygiene, odor, and self-esteem. To explain, by volunteering and spending your time to help out others, it can build a big sensation of pride, satisfaction, purpose, and accomplishment. In similarity, volunteering can create a big impact not only on the students but as well as everyone around, my project will create a positive impact and have a possibility to change citizens lives. In addition, by offering help to a organization or community, it can help support and increase an individual's empowerment.
