Military corporations have invented these violent helicopter like devices, they call drones, to hover thousands of feet in the air to target, spy, and kill potential terrorists. This might sound like a commendable idea, but it can actually be quite dangerous to innocent people. There should be strict regulations regarding the use of drone attacks. Drones might be acceptable for some situations, but to have billions of dollars invested in building and sending them out just to have accidently killed millions of lawful citizens is not what most people call justice. A primary concern about the uses of military drones is the amount of innocent people they intentionally killed thinking that person was doing something they were not supposed to. According to Background on Drones From ProCon.org, it states, “A meta-study of drone strikes concluded 8 to 17% of all people killed in drone strikes are civilians.” 8 to 17% is a lot of people being killed in the CIA’s “signature strikes”, which are targets outside named kill lists, and taken from their loved ones because they had “suspicious daily behavior.” This is mostly happening in …show more content…

As noted in the article, Background on Drones From ProCon.org, “The Pentagon operates some 7,000 drones while the CIA operates around 30, and each drone costs anywhere from $5 million for a Predator to $14.4 million for a Reaper.” For the United States to be anywhere from trillions in dollars in debt and to go out and buy these drones just to do the same thing as if the government had sent people out there to do the same job for less money is ridiculous.
