Recommended: importance of batteries in modern society

In today’s society, people rely on energy storage in almost everything they do. One particular form of energy storage that is very important in the sustainability of modern society is the battery. As stated by tonikenergy.com, humans’ “reliance on battery power seems certain to increase during the 21st century, be it in consumer electronics, the motor industry or the storage of renewable energy”. In a world that revolves around technology, batteries are essential to the comfort of the average person. Take a second to think about everything that uses batteries: phones, cars, toys, remotes, generators, etc. Many of the everyday objects people use on a daily basis depend on batteries to power them, and even if some objects don’t use batteries, many other everyday luxuries utilize some form of energy storage.
