Do you support Animal Testing?

Most people believe that testing on animals before using the consuming good on a human is a very great idea. I would beg to differ, animal testing is in fact wicked and barbaric. Although us human can not understand animals this does not mean that they do not have emotions leading to that they can still be put through a lot of pain. According to PETA.org, over 100 million animals die every year due to animal testing. This can be decreased majorly by using the methods that do not involve using animals and with those methods already created, using is a no brainer. According to, PETA.org, “Each year, more than 100 million animals—including mice, rats, frogs, dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, monkeys, fish, and birds—are killed in U.S. laboratories for biology lessons, medical training, curiosity-driven experimentation, and chemical, drug, food, and cosmetics testing.” (Third Citation) One animal that has been majorly affected by animal testing, are cats. As reported by, PETA.org, 22,000 cats are abused due to animal testing, with cats being in the top three kindest animals there is no point in killing so many every year. (Fourth Citation) An example of the way cats are being killed and abused every year, are, “One pregnant cat who had been purchased from a local animal shelter for $15 gave birth to eight kittens the very day that she arrived at the university. A chemical was injected into the kittens’ brains, and all the kittens died.” (Fifth Citation) This is just one of the many examples of laboratories killing and abusing innocent cats and kitten.
