In today’s society texting is indeed a valuable way of communicating. Communication has grown significantly. Texting is a transformation that has influenced the means of interacting throughout the past few years. Texting is a great way to keep in contact. You can collect faster information and have on the go conversations. It is quick, easy and less distracting, that’s why I oppose it.
Our society is spending too much time sending messages. As a result, this is causing less interacting with others face to face. Clearly, texting instead of talking to others is an unhealthy way for relationships. Texting has become the most frequent form of social communication, turning it into an addiction and a permanent habit which is negatively impacting many aspects of life. It can ruin a child’s ability to spell and use correct grammar due to texting in slang. It can affect a teenager’s literacy by not knowing how to correctly punctuate their words, grammar, speaking, school and even finding a job. Some college students who frequently text message during class may have difficulties staying attentive to classroom lectures and consequently risk having poor learning outcomes. They’re many different aspects of texting and the main two among young teens and adults are Cyberbullying and texting while driving.
Both have taken many lives and devastated innocent individuals. Cyberbullying have many methods. It can come from Emails, Messaging chatrooms, texting, and all kinds of social media. These are threatening, offensive and/or persistent messages that are used to harass, humiliate, embarrass, and target undeserving people. This type of messaging has ended with victims committing suicide and/or murder of those who hurt
