The United States Military is a good choice for many people after high school. The military gives you opportunities, and training that no other career or college could provide. Going into college before being enlisted will help greatly later in life. Some people do not know exactly what they need to enter these types of fields of study and work.
To be able to enter the military, you will need to complete high school. Everyone is required by law to complete high school for most jobs today. So that is the easiest one to mark off the list. You will also need a bachelor’s degree in order to enter flight school. In order to receive your bachelor’s degree, you will need to complete a minimum of 120 semester hours towards graduation. Once you have those two years under you belt, you must meet all of the requirements you will then need to take the Weighted Airmen Promotion System test. The test consists of many thing you already have done and things that you will need to do in the military. Your medals that you have gotten while in service will be taken into thought while you apply for your rank up. You must be an enlisted active service member in order to advance in rank. The Technology Infusion Guideline and the Technical Information Service test are also required in order to rank up. The college that I am going to attend is North Central Texas College in Bowie, Texas it is a community college, I am going there for my basics. NCTC is a small semi diverse college, it is good for learning your basics like any other community college is good for. The reason I am going to this college is because I would like to be a higher rank once I enter the Air Force. “There is a total enrollment of 513 students, 214 male 299 female, out of those students 55 are in district and 458 are out of district.
