Personal Narrative: The Cow

686 Words2 Pages

It was a dark and cold night as we were driving from Gresham, Oregon, to Anaheim, California. All the children were in the back seat sound asleep except for me. My mom was in the front seat asleep as my dad drove. I started watching out the window and see the hills roll by and the desert seems like it wasn’t moving. The desert was moving though, because I could see one cow, then the cow would pass and there would be no cows for a few miles. In the time span of not seeing any cows all you could see was desert as far as the eye could see. My mom is now awake and in the driver's seat. My dad had fallen asleep. My mom turns on the radio to keep her focused. All the radio channels were warnings of an earthquake that was suppose to come any day.
