I, Deputy John Arnold, am a commissioned deputy with the Creek County Sheriff's Office. On May 23, 2016, at approximately 9:25 P.M. I, was dispatched to Hillcrest South Hospital for a sexual assault of a 3 year old that occured in Creek County, Oklahoma. While en-route I was advised by dispatch that the victim was transferred to Hillcrest for a SANE exam. Creek County dispatch contacted the SANE nurse and advised of situation. Upon arriving to Hillcrest, I was directed to a consultation room where the victim was waiting with her parents. I met with the mother, Briana N. Marvin states he lives at 15305 South 289th West Avenue in Creek County, Oklahoma. Marvin stated he has lived at the residence for approximately a month. Marvin stated he previously lived in Deleware County, Oklahoma. Marvin states that he has full custody of Emberlynn and Weston. Marvin stated that Briana is supposed to have supervised visitation with thier children, but has let her take them for weekly visits. Marvin states he lives at the above address with his two children, girlfriend and her 11 month old child. Marvin stated that his sister and her family live at the residence also. His sister is Brandy Crowe and her husband is Albert Crowe. Thier 14 year old son, LOGAN CROWE, is the suspect. They also have a 13 year old daughter who lives at the residence. Marvin stated that his girlfriend, sister, and his 13 year old niece watch Emberlynn for him while he is at work. I asked Marvin if Logan has ever been left alone with Emberlynn. Marvin stated that Logan does not watch her or been left at home with her. I asked Marvin if it could be possible for Logan to be in a room alone with Emberlynn and he stated it is. A horrific murder happened in tiny Skidmore on December of 2004. Lisa Montgomery and Bobbi Jo Stinnett met and found out that they had much in common and became good friends (Nunes 85-86). Surprisingly, Bobbi and Lisa met in an internet chat room. Bobbi was into puppy breeding and she occasionally served as a judge. Alameda has had a hard life as a young girl growing up, both of her parents were alcoholics. Alameda was a 16 year old minor who had a baby and dropped out of school, and then was unable to care for the infant. A case manager by the name of Barbara LaRosa was assigned to Alameda case. Barbara took on Alameda as her client and made a visit to her parents’ home, while making the visit she found Alameda dad incompetent, and could not get any information from him to help with his daughter well-being.
DSS received a report of physical abuse, physical neglect and substantial risk of physical abuse on March 3, 2017 alleging there is chaos in the home. After returning with his brothers from their cousin’s house, the boys had to go to bed. The reporter stated that Xzavia banged on his mother’s bedroom door on three separate occasions wanting something to eat. The first time he was told to go back to bed and a popping noise was heard. The second time Ms. Kimberly Dawkins grabbed Xzavia by the head, shook him little and told him to go back to bed. The third time Ms. Dawkins grabbed Xzavia, threw him on the bed, got a gun, held him down and pointed it at him. Reporter states there was no clip in the gun. Ms. Dawkins was reported being upset and it was reported that she left the home for twenty minutes but came back. It was reported that while Ms. Dawkins was gone, Xzavia was very upset and he was crying and Tyzhaun stared punching holes in the wall. It was reported that Xzavia says he wanted to die and that Atmorris went and got a knife, stated to Xzavia, “You want to die?”, here’s the knife and the two older brothers, Tyzhaun and Atmorris left the house and Xzavia chased them. It was reported that Xzavia was outside crying and he spent the night with the neighbor.
On 08/05/2016 at approximately 1:50 AM, this Investigator with Investigator V. Shroyer arrived at 12211 N. Paradise Village Parkway, Phoenix, AZ for Case # 537001 report of Child Neglect for victim Fiona McFadden (DOB: 03-05-2013) against her mother Monica Katich (DOB: 09-17-89). Upon arriving on the scene, this Investigator met with the report source, Phoenix Police Officer E. Gomez # 7977 in reference to Phoenix Police DR: 2016-00001441605. According to Officer Gomez, Phoenix Police received an emergency 911 call from Monica Katich that her friend later identified as Ashley Brook Post (DOB: 06-21-83) had overdosed on Heroin. Mary Kay Letourneau was a 34 year old teacher from Seattle, Washinton who was convicted of second degree rape on a twelve year old boy. As a result of this affair this already mother of four had two childeren with this 12 year old boy. She originally was senteced to spend 90 days in jail and was to take medicine for being bi-polar. She violated parole by again having sexual intercourse with Vili once again. She was senteced to seven and a half years in jail and was recently released from prison. The area of this situation I will be writing about is the incidicent that happend in the marina with Vili and Mary. Both were found in a mini-van by the police late at night , approximatly 0100 am. Vili appeared to be hiding under a sleeping bag and the police asked how old he was. She replied and said he was 18. The police became suspcious after the youth did not have any idenitification amd said he was 14. The police brought the two of them to the station where Vili's mother was called and she ok'd the fact that Mary was watching over VIli. Some questions come of this situation. Was the police response standard protocol? Was their investigation solid? Was the out come fair? And, If I was the commanding officer what orders would I have given to the investigators.
I called the phone number listed for Legend, and her mother, Kimberly Windham, answered. I asked Kimberly if she new anything about the incident, and she told she did not. Kimberly said she had received another call from a difference officer, possibly from the Port of Seattle, but she did not get a name or case number. Kimberly said she asked Legend why there was a CPS referral, and Legend told her "You don't know what you're talking about" and would not give her any information.
At approximately 0720 hours, I responded to 235 E. Holly St. #312, in regards to an alleged elder abuse case. Upon my arrival, I attempted to contact victim Lew inside of her apartment and there was no answer. I went to her boyfriend suspect Kelsey’s apartment and made contact with Lew there. All states’ laws require reporting when suspected abuse has occurred, and forensic examination is a part of collecting evidence. The presence of a sexual assault nurse examiner (SANE) and a pediatrician skilled in sexual abuse examinations indicates that strict protocol was followed. The child is described as a resident of “a very rural part” of a western state; therefore, conducting the examination as detailed spared the child and family the added stress of extensive travel. According to Foster and Whitworth (2005), telemedicine offers proficient consultations, immediate evaluations, and eliminates transporting the patient to a facility hundreds of miles away. It gives them access to the best possible care, with the least inconvenience and has been shown to be very beneficial in rural areas (Wesson & Kupperschmidt, 2013).
On September 5th, 2016 I, Investigator James Poffel was contacted by Officer Jessica Yarbrough in reference to a sexual assault report she was out on at the front desk of the Muskogee Police Department. The report Officer Yarbrough was taking was in reference to a kidnapping and first degree rape that occurred on September 4th, 2016 at the Comfort Inn, room #112, in Muskogee, OK.
From the approximate dates of June 2015 through August 2016, the named Defendant/uncle of the child victim, THE NAME, raped and fondled his eight (8) year old niece/child victim, THE NAME, at his residence located at 123 Anywhere place, Tennessee. These unlawful sexual encounters include the vaginal digital penetration of the child victim, the fondling of the genitals of the child victim, and the fondling of the child victim’s breast by the Defendant.
On 4/9/2018, Hennepin County Child Protection accepted a report alleged neglect failure to provide necessary supervision of Gaz Pelham, Zephaniah Kesselly and Ethan Kesselly by babysitter Deddeh Korman. Per reporter on 04/09/2018 New Hope Police Department (18-5728) stating that on 04/08/2018 at approximately 7:35pm neighbors called for police assistance as a 5 or 6 year old male child (Zephaniah) was wandering the halls of the apartment building. Rosalyn sells marjuana and her mother's (unknown) pills (Nacole and Lotab out of the home. Rosayln's mother is sick and old. Rosalyn has a record with MDOT for selling drugs. It is unknown if the children has access to the drugs. The drugs are used in the home. The drugs are being manfactured in the home. Jalexis and Rosalyn can not pass a drug test. The Police report that there were several calls reporting of the parents were using drugs, and not feeding little Kayleigh, although the police also indicated that the house were safe environment for the child and there was no indication of abusing, the police did not connect child welfare because of no evidence of any kind. The mother and the boyfriend are being charge of felony “assault on a child, causing death to the little baby girl and both admitted of killing the little baby girl, both of the charge are includes special circumstances while the prosecutors await on a piece of information before convicting the mother and the boyfriend. The new also indicated that both of them are being held 25 years to life in prison if they are found convicted.
Born on August 31, 1977 Shannon Rogers, now Shannon Guess Richardson, 35 years old, is an Irish American was raised by her father Terry Rogers after being abandoned by her mother at the age of two. Her Father worked at General Motors in Doraville Georgia. Shannon has been married three times and has six children. The most recent child was born on July 4, 2013, while Shannon was in custody, for the sending of the three ricin laced letters. Five of the children are from previous relationships and their names are Branden, Allen, Taylor, Ethan and Logan. The sixth child is from her currently separated husband, Nathan Richardson. Nathan has filed for divorce. The most recent child was born four months prematurely. His name is Brody Nathaniel Richardson and he is currently in the custody of his father. Shannon Richardson has been arrested for mailing threatening letters,” a violation of 18 U.S. CODE § 876” (Spiropoulos, 2013). Growing up as an only child I made out pretty well. You almost can’t help but be spoiled by your parents in some way. And I must admit that I enjoyed it; my own room, T.V., computer, stereo, all the material possessions that I had. But there was one event in my life that would change the way that I looked at these things and realized that you can’t take these things for granted and that’s not what life is about.
