Personal Narrative: My Trip To Hawaii

One of my most favorite memories is when my boyfriend took me to Hawaii to celebrate my birthday. It was the first time for both of us to visit the islands. While we were there, we enjoyed the beautiful sunsets, the perfect pearl white beaches, and kayaking the coast of Waikiki island. One aspect of this wonderful trip that I did not like was the five- hour flight from Los Angeles, California to Honolulu, Hawaii. During the flight to Honolulu, we were offered an exquisite cold meat appetizer and Malibu Rum with natural-coconut flavor. When we arrived to the airport in Honolulu, beautiful and young native girls were waiting for us with necklaces made of fresh flowers, very colorful and with amazing scent. In Hawaii there are many things that can create happiness, such us fragrant flowers, and turquoise blue waters. Hawaii has so many exotic things to see. First of all, there is the spectacular taste of the delicious food in Hawaii. One of the things Hawaii is famous for it is pineapple production. Hawaiians called it “Halakahiki”, which means “foreign fruit”. The sweet aromatic fragrances you smell in the region are probably some of the most variable and wonderful of the world. The sweet-scented fresh fruits send a brilliant smell to your nose that will make you not want to leave the island. Also, there are the coconuts, which give off a very sweet and unique flavor. Coconut water is somewhat delicious in that it can transport you to paradise every time you take a sip. Secondly the sights in Hawaii are some of the most beautiful I have ever seen. We went to Waikiki beach where we were sunbathing and swimming. The ocean was clear with a blue-green tint and the underwater life was amazing to watch.
