A memorable day in my life was when I went to Disney world. This day was special to me. I enjoyed going with my family. We was so happy to see each other, because we haven’t seen each other in five years. Do to the fact we live in different states On June 30, 2014 I was planning a trip to Disney world for July 15th, 2014. I plan the trip so I can meet family I never seen before and family I haven’t seen in a long time I knew it was going to be hard. To convince family to go to Disney world do to the expenses. So first we started getting in contact with family through Facebook asking them do they want to come a lot of them said, “of course”. So I and my mom decided to rent out a truck for family that’s close by. We told everyone we will meet at the rooms on the 14th. We said, “2:30 because we wanted to explore Florida, before we went to Disney world So on June 14th the day before the trip me and my fiancé went and got food for the trip . Also me and my mother went and got blankets and pillows for the trip. My mother in-law bought, a portable DVD for my son. …show more content…
We woke up around five am, loaded up our trucks. Made sure all the children used the restroom before we take off. I knew this vacation was going to be a memorable one, the road trip wasn’t so much of an adventure. Once we arrived to Florida, we checked in to our hotel it was about 90 degrees out. All of our family decided to go swimming and grab food on the first day. I believe the adults were more excited than the children, after swimming family members started to get annoyed, because of the weather being so hot. Instead of going to dinner we just grabbed a couple of pizzas. July sixteenth, is when all the fun started, we went to sea world and had an awesome time, the dolphins were so amazing, and we had the opportunity of swimming with the
Disney World is a magical and fun place for a family of four. The sound of excitement filling the air, kids jumping and dancing around waiting to start their day at Disney. But as we know going to Disney is not as easy as it sounds. You need to budget your way to get to Disney World. Saving and planning is your first priority. How are you going to get there and where are you going to stay when you get down to Florida. Most important of all, well to the kids, the Disney Park, and which ones to go to. Wanting to go to and actually going to Disney World is two different things.
One of the best family trips that I have been on occurred when I was about 8 years old. My family and I were invited to go on a 4th of July camping trip to Telluride by some family friends that have 5 kids the same ages as our kids. Several other good friends were also invited to join us. We prepared our camping gear, loaded up the car and hooked up our trailer with our Polaris Ranger. The long drive to Telluride was 7 hours and it felt like it took forever because we were so excited to arrive. Even though the drive up their wasn’t fun at all, the reward was great.
It was an exciting day for me and I didn’t even know what was going to happen. My grandpa came to my house and then he told my brother Luke and I that he was going to take us on a fishing trip to Canada with his friend. We were so excited when he told us I told Grandpa, “This will be the best summer vacation ever!” After he told us we went and got gear like fishing poles, rain suites and food. When we got to the house the morning we were leaving, he showed us a picture of the cabin we would be staying in for the week. It took us a while to pack the car we all packed some of the same foods.
The sound of music, filling the air with happiness, resonates throughout the area. The scent of delicious buttery popcorn and glazed turkey legs that go on for miles and miles. The feeling of excitement coming into the place is felt in the atmosphere. It is the image of a once in a lifetime moment. When people come in, their imaginations become reality. The name describes itself perfectly. Walt Disney World is the place of dreams and imagination. People come from all around the world to see the rides, characters, food and the entertainment of Walt Disney World. I remember when I went to Disney World this past March. It was the third time I have gone to Disney World. To see the amazement and the expectation of the
The next day we had pancakes that the hotel gives for breakfast. That was the best food I have had since the vacation has started. My family and I went to the beach right after that. The water was still cold, so I had to play with the sand. Instead of building a sand castle, I built a set of tunnel and stuff underground. Then, my little brother came and jumped on the tunnels and all of it fell down.
Our thrill adventure was to begin that Saturday. For the next couple days, we swam, visited the ocean, played some beach football, and visited the Tampa Bay Buccaneers football stadium ...
So have you ever been to Disney World? Most of you probably have been there. I didn’t go to Disney World until November of last year with my family. I wasn’t sure what it would be like, but it was incredible. It was a lot of fun, and it was a great experience because I was with my family.
A month went by of us packing, getting ready, and us counting down the days until we left for Florida and then Puerto Rico. The day came that we were leaving for Florida. We were in the car for 5 hours. We finally got to the hotel and we went to dinner. After that, we went to the pool and then we went to our rooms and went to sleep.
Not only did it have all the cool amusement parks in it, but it also had some great roller coaster. So, I and my mom went online and did some research, what we found wasn’t so great. The cost of the trip in total was about 3,000 dollars. My mother is a nurse and my father is unemployed, we just don't have that much money lying around. Although, my mom insisted that if that's what I wanted then that's what I should get. I love my mom, but I didn't want her to be in debt for the next 6 months trying to pay this trip off. So I did some research on my own. It seems that there is an amusement park about 4 hours away from Miami and half the price as universal. That park is called Busch Gardens. Now to say this is one of the best trips I have ever taken is an understatement. This trip was amazing and I bonded even more with my 3 best friends. Alex, who the pickiest out of all, loved this trip and talked more than I have ever seen her talk in my life. Lena, who shows her enthusiasm very profanely, was so happy that she barely even talked. She just would tell me how much she loves me every 5 minutes. Trust me when I say that's something. Isa, who is the snobbiest, couldn't be more grateful for this
I had only been once before, but it was forever ago, and I was excited about going. It did not take too long to get there at all. When we arrived we went and got a bite to eat, and then we bought our tickets. We bought two set of tickets for Sara and me, one to go to Kiddy Land with my niece while my sister and her boyfriend go to the big park and then one for later that night for us to go to the other park after we watch my niece. After a few hours of being there, they had not come and got my niece yet and I ended not getting to go to the big park that is night because they forgot all about me.
It was sunny and 85 degrees. It was the life. I soon saw my grandparents and ran to them. We drove back to the resort, and went to our room. It was the biggest room I've ever stayed in. My Mom, Dad, Sister, and I stayed in a room, My cousins and Aunt and Uncle stayed in a room, and my grandparents stayed in a room.
Then the next day we went to a beautiful beach. Right away I jumped in the water and told my brother to come in and we had a lot of fun. We rented a car so we had a chance to look around Cancun. When we got back we went to the pool.
Everyone who has ever been to Disney World thinks it’s going to be the vacation of a lifetime but when we went it was the vacation from Hell!
Ever since I was about six years old, I wanted in the worst way to go to Disneyland. I would hope every year that my parents would chose Disneyland as our next family vacation destination. I dreamt of the day I would come back from Disneyland with exciting tales of adventure and a pair of sparkly, ruby red and black Minnie Mouse ears of my very own that would be the envy of every kid in my elementary class. Once I finally went to Disneyland, it was amazing; Disneyland was everything I had expected and more. However, a couple years later when I returned to Disneyland, it was different. The rides, buildings, and everything in the park did not have the same allure. The magic I had experienced as a child was no longer there.
Thursday, August 10th rolls around, we get and start loading the jeep, and hit the highway. Just knowing that we were on our own was such a big challenge for us, never in our lives have we gone on trip with out the financial support and guidance of our parents. As we approach the first big city Omaha, I have to guide him and tell him which exits to take and when we got out of there it was such an accomplishment.
