Personal Narrative: My Father Howie

"I really want Cromwell and I to try training classes." said Kevin.
"No. I will only pay for you to do something, not the dog." said Howie. "But dad..." said Kevin.

Kevin really wanted to take Cromwell to training classes but Kevin’s father Howie would not allow it. Kevin's father Howie did not believe that jumping through a hoop and leaping over fences was a sport, but Kevin did. Kevin just wanted to take Cromwell to classes because it would make him happier and it would make him a more improved dog.

Since Howie would not accept it, Kevin had to make an amazing plan that would blow Howie’s mind away. Kevin's plan would also have to be really good because it would have to convince Howie to let Kevin and Cromwell to take the classes. Kevin went up to his room and started to write some ideas down on paper. At first his mind was blank and he could not think of a plan good enough to persuade Howie. Then Kevin just thought that he could just write some ideas and make it into one big plan.

Then Kevin went on the computer and searched for some interesting facts and stories that could persuade his father. He found a bunch of stories and facts that would blow Howie’s mind away. Kevin then wrote everything on a piece of paper. He wrote …show more content…

Howie really noticed how much Kevin wanted to do the classes, so Howie looked up some places that have classes. Howie realized that it wasn’t that expensive, so he made some calls. Once Howie found the right place, he booked some classes. He did not tell Kevin about them because he wanted it to be a surprise for them. Then Howie brought Kevin and his dog to the place without telling him. When they got there Kevin was so surprised and had a huge smile on his face. Since then, Kevin and Cromwell have been going to classes weekly and they decided to go to some competitions. Cromwell won three competitions and Howie has liked the idea more and
