GEtting My Dog
MY eyes opened as I was being licked in the face by my dog and I pushed my dog out of the way to see why my room was so white as I got up to look out the window the window started to fog,then I walked over to the window a little closer and saw that there was some snow on the ground I almost started to yell in joy,but I stopped myself from shouting in joy and I looked at the clock and it was only 6:00 and I knew if I yelled then that my mom would yell at me for waking up everyone in the house.
After a while I looked at the clock and it was 8:00 and then I smelled the scent of sausage come up the stairs and I knew that I was time to eat breakfast and I jumped out of my bed and I went downstairs in joy that it was french toast day.When

She ran over to the closet and grabbed her jacket than We let daisy outside,she ran off the deck right into a huge pile of snow she jumped on it and dug her face into it.Than when she started to come back and she was headed to a large puddle of ice that was very slippery and I knew that she would not be able to hold herself up So I looked at my mom and muttered “She is going to hit that puddle of ice and fall on her side and hurt herself”.Than my mom looked up and yelled “Daisy” and I looked at mom and said “Know she is really going to hurt herself she is running faster”. Than I ran off the deck over in the driveway away from the ice and Shouted “Daisy Come here girl” that she ran over to me missed the ice and we were all relieved. Than I sputtered “Good girl Daisy” then I started to pet her then I took her into the house where I put some food into her dish and gave her some water and looked at her and in wonder of what would have happened if she ran into the puddle of ice.Then I called out with delight “ Good Girl Daisy Dog”.
I wondered what might have happened if Daisy were to run over and fall on the ice then I realized that it might not be as bad as I expect it to be after all I was only worried because it was her first time out in the snow and in the cold weather of winter and she could have hurt herself if she did not know how to stand on the ice or run over
Curious Incident of The Dog In the Night-Time: Through the Psychoanalytic Lens. In this novel the main character is also the author; Christopher John Francis Boone is a fifteen year old boy who has Asperger’s. The author of Curious Incident of The Dog In the Night-Time, Mark Haddon, has not yet written a book about Asperger’s. In the article When Popular Novels Perpetuate Negative Stereotypes Haddon says, “Curious Incident is not a book about Asperger’s, it is a novel whose central character describes himself as a mathematician with some behavioral disorders” (When Popular Novel 3).
What makes us who we are? To answer that question we must establish what we are. We are the most advanced generation of human being the world has ever seen. We as a people come up with new innovations and inventions every day that make life easier. It’s fairly easy to get caught up in what we are as a society and just think that who we are as well but, this isn 't the case. Who we are is also known as our personal identity and there are many aspects of this identity, so many in fact that focusing on only a few comprehensive aspects and going into depth on these aspects will provide a coherent view of what goes into making us who we are.
My brother and I push the rusty metal of the way and we climb through the hole and finally we start running. The guy starts chasing us then my brother and I climb over a fence and run into the forest. When me and my brother go into the forest we find this dog. My brother say’s it’s so cute then I say do you want to keep him and my brother say’s yes. So we start walking with the dog then we see the dust and we try to find a place to hide. Then the dog runs away and my brother and “I say comeback.”
I woke up my dad and told him that it was already light outside. He jumped out of bed and said we had to go. I went outside and started up the truck while my dad was getting dressed. When I opened the door to the trailer I noticed clear blue skies and a light frost that covered the ground. I jumped in the driver's seat of the 1990 white GMC Sierra, pushed in the clutch, and turned the key. The truck hesitated for about ten seconds and then started. I turned on the defroster and the windshield wipers so we wouldn?t have to scrape the frost.
As I walked to school with my lunch that was in a plastic bag. Once we got into school and got in the building my teacher Mr. Williams took attendance and five minutes later we turned around and got on the bus. It was windy and there were leaves blowing all over the place. Last year my 5th grade at John Stewart elementary school was going to Leroy Oakes in St. Charles for team building. It was a fall day and it was chilly. I had my drawstring on my back with my lunch and had three coats on. We turned onto a road called Dean Street and it was bordered by grass. In the novel “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time” by Mark Haddon, there are many aspects that make this novel different from the average novel and worth studying. The visual elements in the novel differentiate it from the average novel and makes it more interesting for the reader. Christopher is an unusual character and is a limited narrator. This book is worth studying as it makes you appreciate your life and see things from other people's perspective. This novel is different from the average novel because it includes many visual elements.
"Honey," my mom yelled to me one sunny afternoon, "Go out and feed Sugar." Sugar was our dog, a big, husky lap dog. I went to our kitchen, and got some food. Then I stepped outside, into the warm, fresh August air, looking for Sugar. I glanced to where I kept Sugar, and couldn't believe my eyes. Sugar was not there. I ran to the place where Sugar slept, I saw that the leash was elegantly coiled up. I knew that Sugar could not have run away. I thought that she must have chased a deer or another animal. Then a disturbing thought hit me, Sugar might have been abducted. As I tried to push that thought out of my mind, I thought that my mom could have put Sugar out in the garage. I went to the garage to check, but unfortunately Sugar wasn?t there. ?Mom,? I cried after a couple of seconds, ?Do you know where Sugar is??
As a kid, I fell in love with the idea of getting a puppy for Christmas. Wrapped in a small box with a bow on top sitting under the tree just like the movies and tv shows I had seen. I can remember making a Christmas list of all the things I wanted that year, and every year the same thing that I wanted had said “puppy” with it underlined so that my mother knew which was my favorite on the list. Every year no surprise, I didn’t find a dog. I never understood why I never received one. When the kids at school talked about the few dogs they had at home made me so jealous, but I hoped that one day it would be me to have my own best friend at home.

A decision to buy a dog is something that most people take very casually. Activities like watching Television and seeing one makes might even make people realize they need one. When I came inside I was so cold that I felt like a ice cube so my mom made me some hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was steaming hot! I had to wait for 8 mins, but it was worth it because it was so tasty and warm. My mom then told me that dinner was done. When I had smelt the delicious dinner mom made, my stomach had roared with hunger and I swear everyone heard it. We had a giant turkey, some mashed potatoes, and mac cheese it was the perfect family dinner, so delicious. When dinner was done, my mom said I had to lay down for school tomorrow so I leaped in my warm, cozy bed and put the covers over me and my mom said “Goodnight.” Man, today just seemed to fly by so quickly with all the excitement I had. As i drifted off to sleep all i could think about was how much fun my day was and I wish every week we had a snow
It was getting about time for lunch so we decided to make grilled sandwiches. I am not a cook so of course I didn’t know how to make a grilled sandwich like Abi and Makenzie. With assistance from Makenzie I know how to make a grilled sandwich but, that sandwich that I made that day for lunch was the ugliest and most horrific sandwich I have ever seen. It was horrible. After lunch we decided that since it was such a pretty day we would go get Pelican’s snow cones. On the way back to Makenzie’s house we saw a rainbow and so we stopped and admired it for awhile. When we got back to Makenzie’s house we pulled out Daisy the golf cart.
I have a love for cats. Ever since I was a teenager I always wished for a cat of my own. When I moved in a three story apartment in California, the Manager of the complex said that cats were allowed in the units. I mentioned to my Aunt at the time that I was searching in the newspapers under advertisements for cats wanted. One cool breezy evening, my Aunt called me and said that a friend of her's named Judy had a cat named Katie who did not get along with her other two cats. So I agreed to meet with Judy to see if I'd love to adopt Katie.
Ever since I can remember I’ve wanted a dog. Never did I think that dogs would end up being by biggest fear. I was just a little kid around 6 years old when it happened. I was walking home from my friend’s house when I saw a stray dog, it was in the middle of the street blocking my way, I decided to walk past it, while I was walking it started growling at me, I hesitated but still kept trying to walk then suddenly it got up and started barking empathically towards me. I was terrified, my first initial reaction being a 6 year old kid was to scare it away, I was ignorant. I picked up a rock and threw it at the dog thinking it’ll get scared and run away. I was wrong. The dog had enough it made a whimpering noise then started barking even louder
...y brother and took the dog out. I jumped into the shower and did a fast wash. I ran to my bedroom to get dressed and took a quick look at the clock. I had plenty of time. I got dressed, and I even changed my shirt twice because I could. I went down for breakfast and the coffee was ready. But, I was alone. My heart started racing. In my hurry to get ready, I did not notice that my mom and brother were not up. “Oh no”, I thought. I dashed to my mom’s room and yelled, “Get Up, Get Up!, you need to hurry or I am going to be late for school.” My mom looked at me and said, “Why are you in such a big rush today, when normally I cannot get you to open your eyes at this time?” I yelled, “Hurry or I am going to be tardy and get suspended.” My mom just smiled and pulled the covers over her head. As she did that, I could just hear her say, “Trace it is Saturday.”
