GEtting My Dog
MY eyes opened as I was being licked in the face by my dog and I pushed my dog out of the way to see why my room was so white as I got up to look out the window the window started to fog,then I walked over to the window a little closer and saw that there was some snow on the ground I almost started to yell in joy,but I stopped myself from shouting in joy and I looked at the clock and it was only 6:00 and I knew if I yelled then that my mom would yell at me for waking up everyone in the house.
After a while I looked at the clock and it was 8:00 and then I smelled the scent of sausage come up the stairs and I knew that I was time to eat breakfast and I jumped out of my bed and I went downstairs in joy that it was french toast day.When …show more content…

She ran over to the closet and grabbed her jacket than We let daisy outside,she ran off the deck right into a huge pile of snow she jumped on it and dug her face into it.Than when she started to come back and she was headed to a large puddle of ice that was very slippery and I knew that she would not be able to hold herself up So I looked at my mom and muttered “She is going to hit that puddle of ice and fall on her side and hurt herself”.Than my mom looked up and yelled “Daisy” and I looked at mom and said “Know she is really going to hurt herself she is running faster”. Than I ran off the deck over in the driveway away from the ice and Shouted “Daisy Come here girl” that she ran over to me missed the ice and we were all relieved. Than I sputtered “Good girl Daisy” then I started to pet her then I took her into the house where I put some food into her dish and gave her some water and looked at her and in wonder of what would have happened if she ran into the puddle of ice.Then I called out with delight “ Good Girl Daisy Dog”.

I wondered what might have happened if Daisy were to run over and fall on the ice then I realized that it might not be as bad as I expect it to be after all I was only worried because it was her first time out in the snow and in the cold weather of winter and she could have hurt herself if she did not know how to stand on the ice or run over
