When you see this beautiful, comfortable, high top black and white pair of sneakers, you see greatness. You can wear them with a suit, or play basketball games in them, or be like me, and just want them forever. The shoes are size 7, and they weigh no more than three ounces. The stitching is so perfectly straight and pearly that it resembles models’ teeth. The laces are jet black like the eyes of a demon. However, with just eyesight you can’t tell the wonderful details of this shoe. You have to put them on, and you have to run around in them. Michael was the fourth of five children. He had two older brothers, James Jr. and Larry, one older sister, Deloris, and one younger sister, Roslyn. Michael’s dad, James Sr. Jordan, worked for General Electric, and Michael’s mother, Deloris Jordan, who worked at The United Carolina Bank as the head teller. Michael always wanted to be a professional athlete. Once when he was nine years old he watched the United States lose to Russia in the Olympic Games in Basketball. He then told his mom that he would win a gold medal in Basketball at Olympic Games. When Michael was twelve he pitched two no hitters in the Wilmington, North Carolina Little League. His little league team went on and almost made it to the Little League World Series.
The boots she purchased were too small, and caused her an extensive amount of grief as she hiked long days. Her boots wore her feet raw; she even lost over half of her toenails. Strayed wrote about the situation with levity, keeping track of her injuries as a score between herself and the trail. Michael Jordan was around 14 years old when he went to The Bronx, he used to be from Queens. He was nervous about starting a new school and meeting new people but the first thing he wanted to see was the basketball team and see if he can earn a place there. He knew what he was good at but he wasn’t sure how good these kids from the Bronx where, he heard they were tough and very good but he always stayed optimistic and confident. He knew that high school was was suppose to be harder for his education, but in all honestly, he was more interested in the basketball team. Other than going college, back in highschool i made a goal for myself to acquire a certain pair of Nike Lebron shoes that were created to commemorate Lebron’s second championship in Miami. After i was unsuccessful copping the shoes in every stores I had access to as well as online, my only choice was buying it off the secondary market of resellers on ebay and expensive boutique stores. The old, leather shoe lays dirty and forlorn in the back closet. Among its more appealing neighbors, the oxfords and loafers, it’s tattered and scuffed surface seems all the more striking. The frayed laces try to unite its distressed eyelets, but it’s helpless. The thin and worn under-sole clings desperately to the shoe's bottom like a climber's last grip on a rugged mountain cliff.
