A Slice of Life Moment When I was a kid, I absolutely loved Disneyland. It was one of my favorite places to go for vacation, during my childhood years. I enjoyed getting away and experiencing the different shows, rides, and other things, I couldn’t enjoy while being at home. I remember getting excited when my family told me we were going to Disneyland. When I was about seven years old, my parents told me we were going on vacation to Disneyland, the very next day, and I was so excited. I didn’t sleep that night because I was wide awake thinking about all the fun rides. The next morning, my family and I, started packing our bags for our family vacation. These shows are very crowded, they’re at night, so it’s very dark. I remember walking to the firework show, in a big crowd of people with my family. I got distracted because I saw a guy with cotton candy. I wanted to get some, so I looked back to ask my papa if he could buy me some and I didn’t see him anywhere and I instantly became frightened. I started searching around to see if I saw anyone in my family but it was too dark and crowded. I was only seven years old, so I didn’t know what to do but cry. I had no clue where to go, or how to find my family. As I’m walking around crying, I caught one of the amusement park workers attention. She walked over and asked what was wrong. I told her I had lost my family because I got distracted, by a man with cotton candy and she instantly acted. She grabbed me by my hand and walked me over to the high point bridge to look for my family. While I was crying and searching, I saw my momma and daddy. I told the nice woman I saw them and she took me where they were. My family and I were so relieved. My parents thanked the nice woman and we went to watch the firework show. After the firework show, my papa made sure I got my cotton
