What is a personal journey? In my opinion a personal journey is an experience that changes the character and also changes their attitude towards their goals and dream. There is a big journey in Long Shot the autobiography of Mike Piazza arguably one of the best batters in his position in MLB history. Mike Piazza was compelled to start his journey to the MLB because he believed that his dream would come true and because he didn’t wanna let down his family since they believed in him. Along the journey to fame he learns 1)Hard work pays off 2)never give up 3) don’t let anyone's words or actions ever effect or get to you. First off let's go through what compels Mike Piazza to go off on his personal journey to pro baseball. I believe that it is because it is his the dream he wants to happen so desperately.
