Recommended: Essays of the holocaust

The Boy In The Striped Pajamas is a story set around the holocaust era written John Boyce. The book was based off of a “picture” in his mind. The Boy In The Striped Pajamas was a movie budgeted on $12,500,000 but its over all pull in profit was $40,416,536. Over 2.4 million people went and saw the movie. Each ticket averaging about $8.50. The ratings gave it a 7.8/10 star rating (by critics).Young Bruno was played by young actor, Asa Butterfield. His mother and father lead by David Thewis and Vera Farminga. Bruno sister was played by, Amber Beattie.

The movie had a more darker feel than the book and knowing what time period it was doesn’t help. One difference I first noticed was how it began. In the book there was no party to celebrate fathers promotion. Bruno walked straight in to find Maria (maid) packing his things into bags and boxes. He then commented on how he didn't want to leave.
