Optimism as a dominant result means that I believe the future holds positive opportunities with successful outcomes. This means that I most likely have good stress coping strategies, motivation, and persistence. I’m likely to invest a high level of trust or faith in the belief that things will turn out okay. Although optimism is my dominant personality trait, I do have occasional pessimistic views, especially during difficult experience and events.

Interpretation matters (interact): People that have high expectations always feel better whether they prevail or fail. When an optimists get a low grade on an exam, the optimist views the exam as the reason for not getting a higher grade. They believe that they will improve their grade on the next exam. When a pessimists receive a high grade they believe that it is irregular and probably won’t happen again. “People with low expectations do the opposite. So when they failed it was because they were dumb, and when they succeeded it was because the exam just happened to be really easy (Sharot, 2012).” Connection to interact: The best way to interact with yourself is, to be honest.
