Observation Of UVI Activity Center

Most students at UVI loiter in-between classes and can’t figure out what to do. Students are ecstatic to learn that there is a place on campus that will alleviate all your stress, concerns, and problems. The UVI activity center is one of the only activity center on the island of St. Thomas located at the University of the Virgin Islands it is a place where people go to escape from personal issues, networking, and fun.
I normally pass the outside the activity center about a minimal of three times a day because I live right next to the activity center in north dorms. It has a walk way on the far right of the activity center leading to the cafeteria. On the outside of the Activity it has two Coca-Cola vending machine. The activity center is at a great location because it is located in-between north and middle dorms. Overall the activity is a cool place to go to hang out occasionally.
The very first time I visited the activity center was in the summer during UVI’s summer bridge program. the activity center has a ping pong table, snack machine, dominoes table, pool table, a section with a TV, and couches. The activity center also has a mail room, bathroom, conference room, a storage room, a balcony, and two offices. The activity center has carpet flooring on the inside. I have been in the activity center several times over the months at The University of the Virgin Islands playing pool, videogames, ping pong, and dominoes.

Ashika has been working at the University of the Virgin Island’s Activity Center since January of 2016. Her daily routine consists of coming to work around 8:30 in the morning to help open the activity center office. Then after she gets situated at her desk she checks her emails and follows up with the activity director to see what’s planned for the day. Around 12:00 Ms. Ashika normally goes for lunch for about 30 minutes to 1 hour. When she returns from lunch she sometimes must fill in for the mail clerk because the mail clerk’s shifts end at 12:00 on somedays. Ms. Ashika normally leaves work around four or 4:30 in the
