North Korea has a history of human rights violations all the way up to the present day. With these violations include horrifying concentration camps and famine all over the North Korean soil caused by the government that runs North Korea. “There are 200,000 people who want to escape North Korean borders and flee from it” (Feffer, John Pg. 4, 1). It is said that North Korea is one of the poorest countries in the world. The topic of United States invading North Korea to end human rights violations has a deep history to consider, and there will always be both supporters and critics who continue to debate this topic.

With North Korea being one of the poorest and not at all transparent countries in the world, you have to consider that’s there’s go There’s going to be rough times there. The food shortages are one of the reasons why North Korean people are leaving the country or trying to. “They’re estimated numbers of 60,000 to 300,000 people that want to overflow the borders to escape North Korea”. (Rusling, Matthew 1,5). Shin Dong-Hyuk and Kim Hye-Sook, were the survivors of the harsh punishments from North Korean concentration camps. Shin Dong-Hyuk wants to put an end to these harsh camps that the North Korean government has made. If the United States does go to war with North Korea then it can be beneficial to the United States government because the United States doesn't want the North Korean government turning into similar nation as Iraq, Afghanistan, or Vietnam. If a war ever broke out between North Korea and United States then the United States doesn't need to worry about dealing with China because North Korea is buffer zone that separates the eastern civilizations from the west civilization by the Chinese standards. Even though North Korea doesn't have the technology to send nuclear weapons onto United States soil, they can grow and expand there technology tree and when they do, they can reach United States
