Onika Tanya Maraj, better known as Nicki Minaj, is a hip hop Queen. She was born on December 8th, 1982 in Saint James, Trinidad. She was raised in Jamaica, Queens, and New York. When she was young her father was a drug addicted and abusive. Nicki has four siblings, Jalani Maraj, Ming Maraj, Micaiah Maraj, and Brandon Lamar. She attended LaGuardia High school and studied singing and acting. In 2009 Nicki Minaj was spotted by the CEO of Young Money. Then soon got signed to Young Money Entertainment. She also features with many well-known rappers like Drake, Lil Wayne., and many more. She has over 140 features on other people’s tracks. She recently released a song called “no frauds” that was released in March of 2017. Nicki is a fun outgoing person that always have an upbeat attitude. She likes to take her career seriously but have fun with it at the same time. She is loving and caring for all of her fans and her family.
