New York, what a city! All the lights, and busy areas are a breathtaking experience. Possibly, one of the busiest cities in the United States. From personal experience, it was a once in a lifetime thing to endure. Although, it does smell due to the sewers and Chinatown, walking at night past dark,scary alleyways was not the ideal thing to do. The blinding lights are not the only objects that make New York the place to be year around. Broadway, the most magical stage, besides being on Hollywood, is a popular site to see while witnessing the other surroundings the city has to offer. New York City, New York, is a great city for tourists to visit due to the famous buildings and breathtaking lights at night. Walking from street to street, gazing at each green street sign. The smell of greasy food and spoiled fish, coats the “so called” fresh air. Finally, hitting Time Square! What a view to see at night. The bright lights beating on the streets, lighting the city up like Fort Knox. Running into people left and right by cause of the city being crowded. In Merriam-Webster Dictionary, Broadway is defined as “ the New York commercial theater and amusement world; specifically : playhouses located in the area between the Avenue of the Americas and Ninth Avenue and from W. 41st Street to W. 53d Street”. (Merriam Webster 2011) Broadway is known for creating great plays, such as: Phantom of the Opera, Fiddler on the Roof, The Lion King, and The Book of Mormon. Actors and Actresses long to be on Broadway. That is a big wish in which they hope to succeed on achieving. When writing a resume, putting “been on Broadway” in it, gives one more of a chance to get a job because it shows their work ethic. People who work on Broadway work all the time and never get a break. They have to give up their daily life and make Broadway their number one
