Age groups vary when it comes to the use of the media. More than half the children are exposed to the media by the age of ten. College students use their phones for nine hours everyday. With the way society is spiraling toward being heavily reliant on technology and people at every age being exposed to the media; negative outcomes on someones actions and their mental state arise. Media violence harms adults and children by encouraging aggression, desensitizing them to real life situations, and persuading them to believe that violence is acceptable. Being exposed to violent content at any age effects the human mind negatively resulting in aggressive personalities and unhealthy changes of their body’s blood pressure.
