Learning How to Swim

Learning to swim always seem to be a difficult skill for me. The difficult part was overcoming my fears of a potential drowning, never learning the skill or technique properly. The importance of learning how to swim will increase my fate, confidence, and stamina. Swimming is consistently among top public recreational activities, especially during the summer. There are techniques and benefits from swimming, in which, is a formalized sport of features local, international, and national competitions. First, we focused on breathing techniques which was exhaling through your nose/mouth as soon as you inhale; it was a difficult critical task. Next, we learned the locomotion and range of how many limbs should maneuver in the water; after locomotion and range, we entered the water. Once in the water I began to loosen with fate of learning to swim with the conference of conquering my quest. During my swimming session I reminisced of the saying, “Practice makes perfect.” As I continued to learn I decided swimming will be a daily activity and workout for healthier living. As the days went by, I saw an ad in the newspaper for free swimming lessons. So I called and asked my coworker if she wanted to take swimming lessons. She replied “Yes sure.” We finally got enrolled in the swimming classes. Classes are from 5pm- 8pm Monday- Wednesday. The instructor was very nice. He took up a lot of time with his new swimmers. He also wanted the new beginners to be on time during every lesson. He taught us a lot, in general, about swimming that a lot of us were unaware. He taught us several things as well.
