My Success Strategies

Success for me is to fully find your purpose in life and aim for a certain goal. Success to others may mean distinctive things. People mostly say that to become successful is to work hard and you will have lots of money. Success is not handed to you on a silver platter. Success is a goal you wish to accomplish and only you can want to complete this goal. My On Course success strategies I will use for future preferences are to accept self-responsibility, to develop emotional intelligence, and to employ interdependence. The following strategies will help me succeed in years to come and give high chances for me to succeed.

First, accepting self responsibility is seeing themselves as the primary cause of their outcomes and experiences. To achieve this strategy, I will not be a victim. What I do is my responsibility and not fate or luck are to blame. For example, I missed the bus this morning because I overslept and have no other ride to school. My backup ride is unavailable and walking is not a option. I start getting angry and blaming my backup driver for not being available. It is her fault that I will be missing class today. To achieve this strategy, I will not let my emotions control my actions. For example, my teacher has handed back our essays that we have worked on for the past week which will determine our final grade for the class. I received my grade and was not satisfied by the outcome. After class I went up to my teacher and angrily told her that her teaching methods are irrelevant. I did not wait for her response and walked out the door. Later, I looked back at my situation and saw that I let my emotions take over. I spoke to the teacher the next day and apologized for my behavior. She allowed me to redo the essay and I developed my emotional
