In today’s day and age, more often than not, life proves itself to be unfair. From small, everyday occurrences such as an unjustifiably graded paper, to current societal issues like sexism or racism; absolute equality is, seemingly, unattainable. One instance that shows the constant unfairness in life is a personal experience of mine. In summer of 2013, I tried out for a local musical. After my audition, it was quite obvious that the others who auditioned were much better choices for the leading role, while I was very much an amateur and a worse choice.
