My complete name is Isabel Eliana Ayala Paida and according to my parents, they selected my first name from a book that my paternal grandfather had in his library, “The Most Significant Figures in History”; they found the name listed twice in the book. The first instance was for Isabel of Castile, the queen who sponsored the explorations of Christopher Columbus and the other for Queen Elizabeth II from the United Kingdom. My parents also said that they had read in other books the meaning of the name and how a name can have influence in the personality of an individual.
