My plan is to apply for the Professional Internship or the Disney College Program. I did the Disney College Program for the spring 2014, and that experience taught me a lot about the company culture and history. That is the reason why I want be the manager of the California Disneyland’s social digital marketing team because all my networking that I built through my internship are there. It will be an easier and great start for me. Disney College Program is an internship open for ungraduated. It last between five to eight months. At the end of your program, you can choose to transfer to a part-time or stop to work at Disney. I chose to end to my internship and come back to UMSL to finish my education. It was hard. I was even thinking about transfer to a California college and keep working for Disneyland, but I did not have the confidence to find a college there that will pay for all my tuition like UMSL did. Disney College Program offer students a chance to learn and experience about The Walt Disney Company. The positions are not major specific and can be easily trained. A higher level internship after the Disney College Program is the Professional Internship. The selection will be stricter and the positions are more major related.
