Our nomination goes to Ms. McCarty. We nominated her because she is a great teacher that always makes time to help her students with school or personal problems. She cares a lot for her students and tries to build a friendship with each and every one of them by helping them grow and develop according to their strengths. During class she encourages her student to be more open. To us she doesn't just meet the criteria of an amazing teacher, but also a great friend and role model that’s always there for us.
Ms. McCarty is an undergraduate from Kent State University with a major in English and a minor in education. She also has a master's in Educational Administration and is currently working on her 2nd masters in Counseling to pursue as a school counselor and possibly become a private practice. …show more content…

Moore, to tutor a fellow student to teach him an alternative way in the subject. In 7th grade she was hired by her district to tutor seeing impaired students which taught her how to read braille and become very precise in her work at age 13. In college she was hired by her professor to work in their writing center teaching her to present papers on writing theories at national writing center conferences.After all her experiences she pursued a dream of teaching and got her credentials in 2002. So as you can see she is very busy, but not just with work life but also family. She has a daughter, Tatiana, who is 26 and married in October. Ms. McCarty had so much planning the wedding. Her daughter is very social, and she would receive calls from the teachers saying that her daughter was polite and social, but she would never shut up. Her son, Zeno, is 11 and he loves math and science. Ms. McCarty refers to her son as her travel buddy. Zeno dreams to be a robotics engineer when he grows
