The transitions in life are bound to be the most memorable moments. These changes aren't something we control but something that happens. From moving to a new location to meeting new people change is everywhere. It can be good and bad, but these changes shape something about us. For me, these changes shaped who I became. I started going to school at age four in Lagos, Nigeria. I lived in the ghetto and was young, energetic, always craving to learn. My parents were Immensely involved with my education, being that I was the first born and that I would set an encouraging path of success for my unborn siblings. I was oblivious to the world around me, Always seeing the world as a straight path, never noticing other methods or roads. Two years later I moved to St.Paul Minnesota, with proud parents looking for a better future. We started off with nothing, living in a slightly better living conditions than Nigeria. I was confused at the time wondering what was happening, I didn't recognize anyone and felt overwhelmed knowing that everything was different. They were tired and stress coming back from. Knowing that I always tried my best in school, hoping that I could one day provide them a better life. Since then, I have been Academically focused and dedicated. I didn't have much support or help since neither of my parents were ever home, through this I became more and more independent. I learned more about myself as to what my weaknesses and strengths were; I started to take control of my actions and what consequences they came with.
