Chance Of A Lifetime In the middle of the fair ride, I could feel my phone buzzing in my pocket. Struggling to grasp my phone, I yanked it out and answered it without hesitation. “ My mom got us meet-and-greet tickets for the concert tonight, but we can’t tell Logan! “ I quickly ran off the ride screaming at the top of my lungs. The Fray and Andy Grammer were hosting their last show for a year at the Missouri State Fair. Why were they even coming here? Sedalia is literally the most country city when it comes to the fair. The Fray and Andy Grammer were going to stick out like an ugly, sore thumb to most people. But to me it was the chance of a lifetime, After I decided I should probably calm down and compose myself before I needed a paramedic, I rushed around with my little brother trying to get the rest of the rides off our list. The ride home was slow and almost tortuous. The traffic couldn’t go any slower even though I live 2 blocks away from the fair. I ran into the bathroom with the speed of an olympic sprinter. How was I going to do my hair or my makeup? Did I wear wedges or flats? All these questions rushed through my mind as the time seemed to slip away from my grasp and towards the meet- and - greet time.
