This story is about a red headed 15 year old girl name Janie, who finds out she was kidnapped; and her biological parents are located in New Jersey. Janie is stressed and delusional as she tries to figure out the truth. Janie has a close friend Reeve, who supports her along with others. Janie eventually confronts her parents for clarification. Janie has come to terms with what happened and is ready to contact her biological parents.
Janie is a 15 year old girl who feels younger than her friends; although they are the same age. In spite of of everything she’s been given in life, Janie is not an attention seeker. She was the only child. Janie on the contrary, was quite shy and quiet; and less talkative than her parents. Janie was never fond of her name and she also had to deal with being lactose intolerant. She has good friends and good parents who love her unconditionally. If she could change some things in her life, the first one would be her name. She always thought Janie was dull. Another is being lactose intolerant. Janie wanted to drink milk like the other kinds instead of drinking juice all the time. …show more content…

Janie had flash backs of events that occurred when she was 3 years old. Remembering the dress she had on and being in a rotation chair in the mall, Janie noticed she didn’t have any traits of her parents. She was very curious about the situation; so Janie decided to go the attic and rummage through some boxes, where she finds information on Hannah and the polka dotted dress. Janie continued to research more on the picture by looking up kidnapping. Based on the information she had found, Janie believed that her parents might have actually kidnapped
