The Middle Paleolithic Era is an era dominated by flake tools and complex stone making techniques. The Middle Paleolithic Era is showcased by Neanderthals and the dominant tool industry that arose known as the Mousterian Tradition (Quinlan). The Mousterian Tradition was named after a site in France called Le Moustier (O’Neil). There are a lot of similarities between the Acheulean Tool Tradition and the Mousterian Tradition. One similarity is, the tools in the Mousterian Tradition were developed and based from the Acheulean tradition (Quinlan). The key difference between tools in the Mousterian Tradition and other traditions, is that there was an emphasis on flake tools rather than large core tools (“Stone Tools”). The Mousterian Tradition first began in western Europe and then expanded to the Middle East and into Africa (“Exploring The Fossil Records Stone Tools”). Just like the Perigordian and Aurignacian cultures the typical tools that were used in the Solutrean culture are burins, blade tools, end scrapers (Aggarwal). The Solutrean culture is known for having excellent crafted flint tools (Aggarwal). In the Solutrean culture the typical tools were thin and beautifully crafted laurel-leaf pointed tools, which resemble a leaf (O’Neil). As craftsmanship kept increasing shoulder point tools started to evolve (Aggarwal). Shoulder point tools resemble the laurel-leaf pointed tools, but the difference is one side of the shoulder point tool is restricted (Aggarwal). Ever since the Pleistocene era, human societies have expanded rapidly, developing innovative ways to defend their territories and migrate across the land. Consisting of an aggregate of humans living together, these societies became more powerful as time progressed by consuming more meat (megafauna). Supporting this development, the more mammals that humans would eat, the more protein their bodies would absorb. When humans consume high amounts of protein, they develop stronger muscles, which leads to the stimulation of brain activity. By way of further explanation, amino acids from the proteins are used to make the neurotransmitters that allow your brain cells to network and communicate. Amino acids that come from the protein you eat are the building blocks of your brain’s network. They can excite or calm your brain as well as nourish your brain throughout its lifetime. Also, they allow the body's own proteins to be used to support life, particularly those found in muscle. This led humans to develop intelligence and create a wide variety of tools. These tools are what the early hominids used to develop their culture into that of hunter-gatherer-fishers, making humans a more dominant mammal within that ecosystem.

The combination of both, Forensic and Anthropology, consists of applying the principles which are introduced by Anthropologists to solving a crime. Forensic Anthropology is currently a small field but is expected to grow in the upcoming years due how it is being portrayed in books, television shows, classes, and many other resources. The usage of this field is becoming crucial because of how gruesome the crimes being committed by criminals are becoming. Although Forensic Anthropology is currently a small field it requires a lot of education, carries plenty of job responsibilities, and continues to aid in the solving of crimes.

Compared to today’s technology Paleolithic technology is quite inferior, but to the people of the Paleolithic Era their technology was of paramount significance. Their tools made of stone, their sharpened sticks, their command of fire, and their development and use of speech were all technologies that made their way of life possible. Their weapons and tools were made of wood and stone, and they had manifested the ability to control fire.
